Wordsworth claims that “Poetry (and all literature by extention) is the breath and finer spirit of all knowledge…the poet binds together by passion and knowledge the vast empire of human society, as it is spred over the whole earth, and over all time.” and many scholars have investigated the close relationship between society and literature.This webinar will present a thematic approach, focusing on how society has been depicted in literature from the beginning of the 20th century to the present age. Participants will be given ideas on how to mix traditional and innovative activities.
